Result Calculation

Results are automatically calculated from the scoring engine based on your configured criteria weights, normalization rules, and tie-breaker logic:

Auto-Ranking — Real-time leaderboard as scores come in, with provisional rankings visible to admins only

Tie-Breaker Rules — Configurable: highest individual score, judge consensus, head-to-head comparison, or manual admin decision

Anomaly Detection — System flags suspicious patterns (e.g., one judge scoring dramatically different from others)

Publishing Workflow

Results go through a mandatory multi-approver workflow before becoming public:

1. Score Freeze	System	All scoring is locked. No further submissions or edits allowed
2. Review	Pageant Director	Reviews final rankings, anomaly flags, and tie-breaker outcomes
3. Audit Sign-Off	Independent Auditor	Confirms scoring integrity and absence of conflicts
4. Publish	Director + Auditor	Dual approval required to make results public

Result Embargo

Results remain under embargo until explicitly published. Access is gated by role — even admin cannot see final rankings until the Director releases them.
